About this web site:

You may want to pick the cheaper and best provider in your country or go to another country for your medical tourism, because, in your country, the medical
services are too
-expensive, unavailable, lacking in quality, or take too long to
procure
. This web site was -created, as a public service, to address these problems.

Some doctors and hospitals from other countries have lower infection rates, lower
medical mistake rates, higher success rates, lower costs, and some U. S. hospitals
and doctors have lower infection, medical mistake, and success rates. Do some
checking and find out what is the best alternative in your particular case. To use
this site you must read and agree to the Terms of Use. We are making no
recommendations. External links to other Internet sites should not be construed
as an endorsement of the views contained therein. Thru your own background
checks you frequently can determine your best alternative. Do not rely on the information
in this site to make any decision. Verify any information on this site
and any linked to site, and then, and only then, from your own research, decide
what is the best course of action for you.

Remember, most of us cause our own diseases, and distress that we could
eliminate by a life style, attitude, thinking, or environment change. We
frequently produce our own rotten teeth, sick heart, lungs, emotional
torment, etc. Links to many health systems are provided.

How do GOVERNMENTS CREATE your high medical costs while pretending concern?------------------

Congress, the States and colleges, for their personal gain, determine, produce, cause, and create the high fees of doctors and dentists. They do this by: 1. unnecessary, prolonged education 2. limiting the number of doctors and dentists that can be trained 3. and by federal under funding of medical residencies (the graduate training required of all doctors). The medical lobby purposefully limits the supply of medical services and controls medical costs in all states. No medical/dental school or hospital can be created without the permission of state government. The number of medical students allowed is subject to state regulation and approval by each state branch of the American Medical Association (thereby supporting the personal gain of doctors): Each year only about 18,000 USA doctors are allowed to be trained even though there is an extreme shortage of doctors in some rural areas (1 doctor to 5000 patients -External Link http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2005-03-02-doctor-shortage_x.htm In some years, only 37% of applicants are admitted to medical school, and  only 33.5% of applicants to dental  school. (Fairly Recently seven dental schools were closed and enrollees have been reduced in the other existing open schools, example:There was 6301 first year enrollees In 1978 down to only 4618 in 2007, but with a 36% population increase from 1978 to 2007 there should have been 6301 x 1.36 = 8569 first year enrollees to equal the same supply to population of first year enrollees as existed in 1978.) In some treated groups many die of diseases caused by decayed teeth, 27%+ cavities go untreated and some low-income children must wait six months for surgery because of the artificially limited supply, Dentists are unaffordable and make $185,000+yearly with many specialists making $300,000+. Many say they do not go to dentists because prices are to high, and thousands of dentists have stopped accepting insurance.

yearly number of first year enrollees from 1955 to  2007

Just from 1993 to 2008 more than 371,060 students were prevented from becoming doctors. Education is used as a weapon to limit supply, increase prices, and promote government and school business! There could be more than twice the number of doctor/dentists in the USA, if governments would stop artificially creating these high medical/dental, and hospital costs, and stop breaking the hearts of applying doctor/dentists, there would be little need for health insurance, our cars would not cost $1,500 more, and our industries would be more able to compete with other countries! About 18% of USA citizens' yearly income goes for medical costs (about 2.2 trillion dollars per year). (All links are External)

Applications to Colleges Are Breaking Records:http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/17/education/17admissions.html

In most countries of the world, medical students go directly from high school to medical/dental school where they learn everything they need to know including anatomy, physics, chemistry, biology, genetics, histology, calculus, medical diagnosis, the ethical and emotional treatment of patients, etc. This is true in China, India,
Germany, France, England, etc. (World Wide medical school requirements) External Link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medical_school  But in the USA and Canada, medical students are prevented from getting 4 extra years of learning and practice as a doctor by the requirement that they must take irrelevant college courses for 4 years before medical school. New Doctors Awash in Dept  External Link
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/19/health/19cost.html this is why some Indian doctors in their 30s have done more procedures than USA doctors ever do! While future medical students are undergraduates in college, they cannot be competing against practicing physicians and dentists. This scheme increases the physician's/dentist's incomes and provides additional income for colleges and jobs for professors, but it can bankrupt and kill you, the consumer! Remember, it is YOU who must ultimately pay for these diversionary educational requirements that are soon forgotten.

The Forgetting Curve: External Link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forgetting_curve

How did this irrelevant educational diversion start?
In 1910 the doctors were not making the amount of money they desired, and were getting more competition than they wanted from their own kind and from several alternative medical systems. Many medical schools were poor, some with no dispensary, no lab, no ability for the students to see sick patients, lots of untrained teachers, no cadavers for anatomy class, etc. This gave the medical lobby an excuse for why they needed more education in order to "help the public." What is needed is good education, not more irrelevant education.  But what was and is more important to the medical lobbies are the changes needed to be kept in force to realize the goal of high wages and status. So, the majority of medical schools were closed (over 100, especially black and female schools), 4 more years of irrelevant education was added, and many medical students were prevented from ever becoming doctors. "Flexner Report:" External links   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flexner_Report For a free copy of the "Flexner Report" click here:
http://www.carnegiefoundation.org/files/elibrary/flexner_report.pdf (On page 167 of the "Flexner Report" it is explained how the lobby would control medical institutions and workers through the misuse of state boards. "The state boards are the instruments through which the reconstruction of medical education will be largely effected. To them the graduate in medicine applies for the license to practice. The boards determine: 1. The preliminary educational requirements. 2. The facilities required of the medical schools. 3. Examination of the student for licensure.")

How is competition eliminated and your costs increased? By constructing what economists call
"Barriers to Entry" Externl Link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barriers_to_entry States increase your costs by:
   1. Closing the majority of medical/dental schools and refusing to let enough new medical/dental schools ------be
 built. (They Do)
   2. Limiting the funding of medical residencies, (the graduate training required of all doctors) (They Do)
   3. Refusing to let enough students into your state's existing medical/dental schools, even though the
-----population has increased and is older and sicker and needs more care. (They Do)
   4. Demanding 4 more years of  irrelevant schooling, which is not required in most other
countries. This ------costs the student $200,000+, deprives the doctor/dentist of 4 years of medical experience and ------prevents many from ever attending medical/dental school. (They Do)
   5.-Not providing free
Medical/Dental Schools (as in many countries). Schools often cost $60,000  a year.
   6. Requiring the passing of tests that only a small percentage of the population can pass, and not ------building
enough medical/dental schools, preventing students from even going to school. (They Do)
   7. Continually extending the years of schooling and training required. (They Do)
   8. Requiring doctors to pass licensing tests that they have already passed in other states. (They Do)
   9. Requiring nurses, nurse practitioners, midwives, anesthetists, and physician's assistants, to work ------under
a doctor. Others can do much of the work doctors do at 40% of the cost. (They Do)
   10. Not allow technicians to be trained to do only a small part of a specialty. (The V.A. does allow this.)
------Example: Proponents of Dental Therapists say their training (2 Years) is comparable to the ------practical training that dentists receive and studies conclude the quality of the work is comparable to ------dentists, and sometimes better. In 50 countries Dental Therapists successfully treat patients at much ------lower costs. (This has been the case for 90 years in New Zealand, and recently in Alaska.) (They Do)

It is easy to see how the number of doctors and other medical providers can be limited to any number
that  provides a short supply, and thus offers little competition and high cost to you. But, because of the
limited number and too many patients, (some doctors see 60 patients a day) doctors cannot spend enough time to really treat or diagnose the diseases you have, or explain what you need to do to become healthy. Massachusetts has the highest number of physicians per 1000 Americans, 4.3 and Oklahoma has the 2nd lowest number, 1.6. This causes the income of a primary care physician after residency in MA to be 120K, and the income of a primary care physician in OK to be 250K. There is no difference in work or training. This shows the results of a limited supply and the reasons for your high costs!!!

Is Government Medical Insurance the solution to high medical costs? The U.K. has conned their British
citizens with their NHS while at the same time restricting the number of doctors to 2.45, and .40 dentists per thousand people. This short supply protected high doctor/dentist incomes under the NHS, and
caused 6% of patients to treat themselves, for example: pulling their own teeth out with pliers. Many wait 18 months for treatment and others receive no treatment because they cannot find or afford a provider. The medical lobby will encourage Barack Obama to make the same mistake and insurance will increase demand and thus shorten supply and dramatically increase your costs.

Why is there special government treatment of physicians and dentists to insure their high income? In the
USA and Canada students must go to college 4 years longer than in other countries, with no
improvement in performance, and as few as 37% of these college graduates are allowed to go to medical school, and as few as 33.5% of dental students. Is this CAPITALISM? DEMOCRACY? What state and federal laws and constitutions are being violated? Is this unequal treatment, unlawful restraint of trade, etc.? This issue needs legal study, action, and your help!

What can YOU do? This unfair government action continues because the media, NPR, TV, Radio,
Magazines, and Newspapers do not report this preferential, immoral treatment enough. We need
to PICKET ALL THE MEDIA, the Government, AND COLLEGES for these failures, and to bring to the attention of the public, the media's, college's, and government's pandering to the doctor's/dentist lobby. The doctor's/dentist lobby, colleges, governments and media are robbing, impoverishing, and even killing the public by their actions, and inactions!

2. Get a cheap phone card for the country of your choice and/or use your Internet
telephone, if you wish to talk, to some of your potential providers. You will note
that many providers do not have web sites or email, and frequently only 1 in 20 will
even respond to your email. In your search engine put in the words, “international
phone card.” You could buy a phone card in a local store. You will want to notice
the following of the company you choose: How do they round the time, are there
any monthly fees, connection fees, maintenance fee, minimum usage fees,
expiration date, hidden costs, automatic recharging, additional fees for smaller
purchasers, the contract terms, that the cost for calling one way is different from
calling the reverse way, that some companies are cheaper one way but more
expensive the reverse way, that you do not have to dial a Pin Number, whether
they have a local dialing number for even lower per minute charges, etc. After you
have studied your choices you can make your decision. Check this phone card
provider
and then see if you can find a better one:

3. Pick a provider in the country you choose, (Doctor Quality)-

check them out, and get written prices. Doctors usually can not work at any hospital

and the hospital they work at may have high infections rates or medical mistake

rates thus if one picks a quality hospital first and then a qualified doctor that works

at that quality hospital one has the best of both worlds. The number of people in

the U. S. who die, per year, of hospital infections or medical mistakes is about

100,000 each, or about 200,000 thousand altogether, a true yearly medical tsunami.

4. Compare hospitals, nursing homes, doctors and other health providers costs and Quality (accreditation) in various countries:(18,000 U. S.  hospital providers are compared and charted, for quality, in all the countries and U.S. states,-but to compare costs you must call each individually. Costs in hospitals can vary,in a city, by over $1000.00 daily, for rooms or procedures).
